Wal-Mart cameras put man on aisle, entering store; video helped ID man

Papillion police are crediting footage from security cameras at Wal-Mart for the apprehension of a man accused of touching a woman inappropriately at the store.

Police said cameras show the 57-year-old Omaha suspect entering the store the night of March 7. They also show him leaving the aisle where he is suspected of the inappropriate contact, and leaving the store, police said. Cameras did not record the incident.

The woman told investigators that the man made comments of a sexual nature and pressed against her. She pushed him away and he rubbed against her again and left, police said.

After footage from the security cameras was broadcast on local television, police received several tips that led investigators to the man.
