Company designed to provide cellular communications for DMP customers

Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), a popular maker of alarm panels, has formed a new company designed to provide cellular services for panel communications.

The company launched the new business, SecureCom Wireless LLC, alongside its new 463G Digital Cellular Communicator, a plug-in expansion card that provides cellular communications for the company's XR500 panels. With the creation of SecureCom Wireless, security systems dealers can install and activate the communications card and have it subscribe to the SecureCom Wireless service. To activate the SIM card, dealers would need a specific serial number; that number would be provided when dealers create an account with SecureCom Wireless. The subscription to SecureCom is programmed using DMP's Remote Link application.

DMP notes that the newly launched 463G Digital Cellular Communicator can be used with service from other carriers, giving dealers flexibility in their accounts.

SecureCom is now on the web and can be visited at www.securecomwireless.com.
