Melville, N.Y.-based Verint Systems, which has made a name for itself in networked video security, communications interception and business intelligence communications, has acquired contact center analytics company Opos Group.
Opus Group, a privately held company out of Hindsdale, Ill., had been a competitor of Verint's in the call center analytics marketplace.
The acquisition was completed for $12 million in cash and additional "earn-out" payments over the next two years.
