Bioscrypt announced today that its fingerprint readers are part of a winning bid for a security technology implementation and upgrade at an unnamed major international airport in the U.S. The installation will use more than 500 of Bioscrypt's readers.

In a prepared statement to the press, Bioscrypt President and CEO Robert Williams indicated his hopes that the contract may just be the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

"We are pleased to provide the biometric physical access component to this significant International Airport's security infrastructure," said Williams. "We believe that the system designed for this project is one that can be replicated at airports around the world."
