MDI and ITI-Com.Seek partner to provide integrated security for world's largest casino operator

MDI Security Systems, the foundation of MDI, Inc., a developer of open integrated access control, alarm management and video security solutions, has announced that Harrah's Entertainment selected MDI's award-winning SAFEnet Solution to centrally, command and control their casino security operations.

Under the facilitation of ITI-Com.Seek, Inc. (Com.Seek), an MDI Security Solutions Partner, MDI's SAFEnet integrated security management solution has been designated by Harrah's corporate headquarters as a "Certified Access Control System" for their enterprise security operations. The MDI product line is currently the only security control solution in the industry to receive this prestigious certification from Harrah's.

Com.Seek provides its customers with MDI products exclusively and will be the centrally designated design, sales and security integration facilitator for Harrah's managed locations across the country.

Throughout the various phases of the contract, MDI and Com.Seek will work together to integrate and automate all access control processes for the popular casino enterprise. With MDI's comprehensive product line, including their ViewPoint brand of security surveillance cameras and recorders and the nTEGRITY line of access control readers and biometrics, Com.Seek will ensure that they have the solution to allow Harrah's to identify, track and manage their security, as needed, from a scalable open systems integration platform in a networked environment.

"Com.Seek has maintained a history of success by providing our clients in the petrochemical, hospital, gaming and hospitality industries with MDI products exclusively," said Brian Ashley, vice president for Com.Seek. "With that in mind, we chose to capitalize on this established success to protect Harrah's clients, employees and assets while empowering their security team to maximize their internal resources and focus on pro-active incident prevention versus traditional reactive alarm response. Our partnership with MDI is designed to position Harrah's to accomplish this."

Founded in 1937, Harrah's is the largest casino operator in the world. The company owns or manages through various subsidiaries 26 casinos across the country, primarily under the Harrah's, Rio, Showboat, Horseshoe and Harvey's brand names.
