Diebold Incorporated, which has made its name as a government-level integrator for electronic security systems, has formed an agreement with Hirsch Electronics to act as a reseller of Hirsch's product line.
Hirsch's products include a variety of GSA-approved access control and security management systems.
"The addition of Hirsch's products allows Diebold to expand the range of choices available to our customers and re-emphasizes our commitment to provide high-end, advanced security systems that meet the needs of our federal clients," said Dennis Moriarty, vice president of Diebold Global Security, in a Friday statement.
According to John Piccininni, vice president of sales for Hirsch, the company is seeing growth in the sales of its products to the government sector, so it followed that a partnership with an integration company would allow consistent deployment of the company's wares.
