Taiwan-based IP surveillance products company ACTi has made the jump across the Pacific and has opened a new office inside the United States. ACTi's new location is in Seattle, Wash., and according to company statements, has been positioned to pick up on the expanding IP surveillance market in the United States.
Also with the announcement of their new U.S. location, ACTi announced that Chad Cooper has been hired to the position of Director of Sales and Support for ACTi in the United States. Cooper brings 18 years of CCTV experience and his main task will be to grow the company's dealer base.
The company is best know for its MPEG-4 surveillance solutions.
