MSGI Security Solutions Lands Major Contract in Italy

Company's subsidiary Excelsa to sell mobile surveillance units to Italian law enforcement

MSGI Security Solutions' Italy-based affiliate Excelsa SpA has landed a major contract to provide CCTV equipment to Italy's law enforcement.

The company announced today that it had landed a $720,000 contract ($600,000 euros) to provide mobile surveillance units to security company IES SpA, who will then lease the equipment to Italian law enforcement, according to an Associated Press report. The contract calls for 117 units.

The company's mobile units offer video and audio channels as well as microphones and are used for standards police operations. The units feature wireless capabilities for remote real-time monitoring.
