TASC, which has regional offices in San Francisco; Amsterdam; Tokyo; Dublin; Leeds, England; and Melbourne as well as Sydney, represents a large integrator network, including offices across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
"TASC will complement our existing core competencies in enterprise-wide security solutions," said Dennis Moriarty, vice president of Diebold's Global Security Division, in a statement on Monday. "TASC is an industry leader, providing Diebold with considerable expertise and knowledge of the security market on a global basis. This relationship will further position Diebold in the high-end integrated electronic security systems market and help build our global infrastructure in the security industry."
Purchase terms were not announced, but it is known that TASC's CEO Myles Hick will serve as president of the acquired TASC. Hick said that "TASC's existing management team will remain with Diebold."
