Poway, Calif.-based Low Voltage Systems has been purchased by Bay Alarm Company, adding to Bay Alarm's regional presence throughout California.
Low Voltage Systems, a GE Security Pro Dealer and authorized DMP dealer specialized in alarm systems for residential homes and commercial businesses in the Southern California area. The firm also provided structured wiring, home theater and stereo systems, intercom, video surveillance and central vacuum systems.
The owners prior to the transaction's closing were Doug and Kym Farkas. According to a statement, Doug Farkas will be staying with Bay Alarm primarily to service custom-builder customers.
The transaction was coordinated Low Voltage Systems' sale to Bay Alarm, with Dorsie Mosher of Davis Mergers and Acquisitions Group representing the sellers.
