IdentiSys acquires Claritus' identification division

Purchase marks IdentiSys' ninth identification acquisition in the last seven years

IdentiSys, an Eden Prairie, Minn.-based integrator of identification, tracking and other security applications announced on Monday that it has acquired the identification division of Claritus Inc.

Based in Lincoln, Neb., Claritus provides identification solutions such as digital photo ID systems, embossed card personalization systems, loyalty or membership card systems, smart card/biometric applications, secure access/access control/CCTV and patient identification solutions to the corporate, government, healthcare, education, membership/loyalty, first responder and emergency management markets in Nebraska, South Dakota and Iowa.

In a statement, IdentiSys Founder and CEO Michael R. Shields said that the purchase supports the company’s growth strategy and also marks its ninth identification acquisition in the last seven years.
