Video manufacturer American Dyanmics, part of Tyco Security Products, has announced the integration of its flagship Illustra HD IP camera line with Genetec's Omnicast video management solution.
According to press release issued by American Dynamics, the integration with Illustra cameras with Omnicast video management system is available in version 4.8 or higher.
Available in Illustra 400 and 600 series IP cameras, the integration with Omnicast will give users access to HD video quality, regardless of lighting conditions.
Cheryl Shea, product manager with Tyco Security Products, said Omnicast customers can leverage quality resolution and low cost by adding Illustra cameras for new or expanded surveillance deployments.
"Our integration with the Genetec solution demonstrates Tyco Security Products’ commitment to incorporating third party technologies so that customers have access to the most appropriate solutions for their particular application," she said.
Illustra cameras feature automatic facial detection capability, auto-focus and a Theia wide-angle lens option, according to the release.
The Illustra integration follows other Tyco Security Products integration with Genetec and are available through the company’s global distribution channels.
