Pivot3, a provider of storage appliances for the video surveillance market, announced this week that it saw record revenues during the first half of 2012.

According to a statement, the company, which has doubled its revenues each year over the last four years, recently marked its 14th consecutive quarter-over-quarter growth.

In addition, Pivot3 recently signed its 600th customer and shipped its 7,000th vSTAC appliance. The company has also seen strong interest in its line of vSTAC VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) appliances.

"Less than one year after launching vSTAC VDI, interest in the product has exceeded our expectations, and we’ve built a solid foundation for an exciting new business sector for the company," said Rich Bravman, CEO of Pivot3. "Building on this base, I see tremendous opportunity for the rest of fiscal year 2012. Interest in the VDI market is expanding, and we look forward to fueling that growth by delivering a solution which radically changes, and simplifies, the way organizations view storage."
