Owner says acquisition was a 'natural fit' for the company’s growth

RFID Hotel, an Orlando, Fla.-based manufacturer of RFID key cards and credentials for the hospitality industry, announced this week that it has been acquired by Lodging Access Systems.

Prior to acquiring RFID Hotel, Lodging Access Systems held a long-term agreement representing Onity, a business unit of UTC, in the southeastern U.S.

"Aligning Lodging Access Systems with RFID Hotel was a natural fit for the growth of the business. Both companies have a solid history of providing security related services to the hospitality industry," said, Steve Brooks, owner of Lodging Access Systems. "RFID Hotel’s mission of providing the highest quality RFID key cards, key fobs and wristbands at the most competitive prices with a strong 'customer is right' philosophy is something that I am proud to stand behind."

RFID Hotel, which works with both independent properties and major hotel chains, maintains an order fulfillment center with over one million RFID key cards, key fobs and wristbands with credentials for all major locking systems in stock for immediate shipment.
