Holly Tsourides named CEO of Matrix Systems

James Young to spearhead business development and major account penetration

Matrix Systems, a provider of access control and other security solutions, announced on Monday that Holly Tsourides has been appointed as the company’s new CEO.

"The opportunity to join a world-class leadership team and a company with so many opportunities for growth was one that I couldn’t refuse," Tsourides said in a statement. "The security industry is changing all around us, and nimble companies such as Matrix Systems are well-positioned for an important role leading the industry into the future. I am proud to be a part of it."

Tsourides has more than 15 years of executive management and sales experience, most recently serving as chief sales and marketing officer at VideoIQ, a maker of intelligent video surveillance products. During her time at VideoIQ, Tsourides helped grow the company’s global sales and marketing channels achieving more than 700 percent revenue growth. Prior to VideoIQ, Tsourides also served in leadership roles at The Stanley Works and GE Security.

Young, who has led Matrix since 2003, will remain active with the company in a key role spearheading business development and major account penetration.
