ASIS to offer complimentary, one-day conference registration to law enforcement, military and EMTs

Active duty personnel to receive free access to educational sessions, exhibits on ‘Law Enforcement/Military Appreciation Day’

ASIS International announced this week that it will offer a complimentary, one-day admission to active duty law enforcement, military personnel and emergency medical technicians for its annual conference which is scheduled to take place on Sept. 24-27 at McCormick Place in Chicago.   

According to a statement, the free admission will be for Sept. 26, which has been designated as Law Enforcement/Military Appreciation Day.

Those who register will be granted access to all of the day’s educational programs, which include a keynote presentation by former Australian Prime Minister John Winston Howard, as well as sessions and tracks on a wide range of topics such as homeland security, cybersecurity and terrorism and disaster response. The one-day registration also includes access to the exhibit hall showcasing security solutions from more than 700 companies

In addition, the conference will also offer registrants an opportunity to network with peers from the around the globe, meet individuals who have successfully transitioned from the public to the private sector, and take advantage of career-related services in the Career Pavilion including how-to sessions on transitioning into the private sector.
