Company adds 2K new customers to its rolls, opens first office in state

ADS Security announced last week that it has acquired Seaboard Security Systems. The acquisition, which will add approximately 2,000 residential and commercial customers to the company’s rolls, marks ADS’ entry into the state of North Carolina where it will operate a branch located in the town of Washington. Seaboard Security is the fifth acquisition for ADS this year, continuing the company’s pursuit of growth across the Southeast.

“Adding the state of North Carolina to our service area aligns perfectly with our mission of steady, smart growth across the Southeast,” ADS President and CEO John Cerasuolo said in a statement. “We patiently waited for the right opportunity in North Carolina, and Seaboard Security Systems and their outstanding team offered us the ideal entry into this market.”

"This is an exciting time for Seaboard Security customers, who we have been serving for over 37 years," said Bill Boone, owner of Seaboard Security Systems. "We chose ADS because of their impeccable reputation within the security industry, award-winning, CSAA Five Diamond Central Station, and their long history of successfully acquiring and growing security companies like Seaboard Security Systems."

Boone has been appointed ADS vice president and general manager, and he and his team will work out of their current office in Washington, N.C.
