U.S. Cellular launches home security and automation system

OnLook Digital System available to customers in Iowa and Tulsa, Okla.

Following in the footsteps of other large telecommunications providers to enter the home security and automation market, U.S. Cellular recently announced that it is launching its' own "self-installed" solution called the OnLook Digital System. According to a statement, OnLook, which is available for purchase within the company's Iowa and Tulsa, Okla., markets, can be managed using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

OnLook leverages Alarm.com's software platform for smart homes and is available in three package options. The three package options include: Essential Security, Advanced Security and Advanced Security + Energy. Every package includes 24/7 professional monitoring and standard components such as:

  • 1 Control Panel
  • 2 Door/Window Sensors
  • 1 Motion Sensor
  • 1 Key Fob
  • Security signs & decals
