Biometric Access Control pedestal from Boon Edam

At ASIS 2017, Boon Edam Inc. is displaying a new, access control pedestal that can be attached to the recently-launched optical turnstile, the Lifeline Swing. The Lifeline Swing is a swinging barrier lobby security solution for Class A buildings. It features a sleek design with slender, 4” inch-wide cabinets and intuitive LED lights that signal to users as they approach the turnstile. In the booth, this new pedestal will incorporate MorphoWave™ touchless fingerprint technology from OT-Morpho, a world leader in biometrics. This solution, which is an owner-furnished access control system, is ideal for high throughput applications that require enhanced security through rapid biometric identification, with maximum convenience, in a stylish design.
