Tri-Ed holds annual national sales meeting

Company hosts sales training, breakout sessions and team building exercises at three-day event


Tri-Ed Distribution recently gathered its sales team from branches across North America along with other key members of the Tri-Ed organization and valued suppliers for its Annual National Sales Meeting. Held in early December on Marco Island, Florida, the meeting was an energizing, team-building event focusing on leadership.

President and CEO Steve Roth opened the meeting, followed by a kick-off presentation given by COO Pat Comunale. Motivational speaker Gregg Baron pumped up the crowd of over 80 Tri-Ed employees. The three day meeting encompassed sales training, breakout sessions, team building exercises, and a vendor night featuring tabletop displays and new product training. "This was a great opportunity for our suppliers to spend quality time with our team from across North America," said Senior Vice President of Marketing James Rothstein.

Several staff members were recognized at the Awards dinner and the staff of Tri-Ed Vancouver was honored as the President’s Cup Winner for Branch of the Year.

"The meeting served as an ideal forum for training and to set the company’s objectives for 2009," said COO Pat Comunale.
