Stanley appoints Thomas Phelan Regional VP

Phelan to be responsible for the southwest region

Naperville, IL (January 7, 2009) –Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, has named Thomas Phelan to Regional Vice President for the company’s southwest region.

Phelan has over 20 years of experience in multi-site management and senior leadership roles inside and outside the industry, specializing in start-up and turnaround operating environments. He has been with Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (formerly HSM and Honeywell) since 2004 as a District General Manager (DGM) in the North Texas market.

Prior to Stanley CSS, Phelan was the co-founder and vice president of sales for Alliant Protection Services in Burbank, California. He served as corporate vice president of Paging Network, Inc, as well as previous executive leadership roles in sales and general management with the company. Phelan served as manager financial planning and analysis for General Dynamics for six years and in general and operational management leadership roles with ADT Security.

Phelan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance Emphasis from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington in 1986 and his M.B.A. in Entrepreneurial Studies from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California in 1991. Phelan and his family reside in Frisco, Texas.
