Rutherford Controls Int'l Corp., January 2, 2009 - Delayed egress systems are perfectly suited in applications where loss prevention and traffic control are a concern but life safety must remain a priority. Traditionally, these systems can be complicated. Want to make it easy?
Rutherford Controls Intl Corp announces the New DE8310 Delayed Egress Electromagnetic Lock: affordable, flexible, intelligent and simple to use.
This all-in-one delayed egress system has a patented built-in “sensor†that detects pressure once applied to the outward swinging doors. This means that the DE8310 integrates with existing mechanical door hardware making this an easy delayed egress solution.
The DE8310 is available with built-in sounder, voice and CCTV monitoring combinations. The voice versions come with pre-recorded messages that provide exit instructions or in case of an attempted forced exit, a warning notifying security personnel. The built-in camera versions are compatible with motion activated or continuous recording DVR’s.
The DE8310 comes standard with field selectable settings allowing the flexibility needed to meet a variety of building codes. The unit also holds a highly visible Red/Green light panel that clearly indicates the status of the door from a distance which is ideal for sight inspections down long corridors.
"We believe Installers looking for a delayed egress solution will be attracted to this product due to its ease of installation and the fact that it’s a unique cost effective alternative they can offer their Customers," states Bob Lafrance V.P. of Sales & Marketing.
