ATV debuts new Public View Monitors

New TFT LCD monitors offer users camera, size options

Carrollton, TX. January 2009. An industry leader in delivering innovative products and services ATV’s Public View Monitors are high brightness and contrast TFT LCD monitors. Monitor options include a "no-camera" panel only model in the three sizes (20", 26" & 32"); and the same size panels that include a 540TVL WDR color camera with integral 2.8~11mm vari-focal auto iris lens.

The wide dynamic range (WDR) camera provides increased visibility when sources of high illumination are located directly behind a scene of lower illumination, such as a retail front entrance. The 20” series features a standard 4x3 aspect ratio and the 26” and 32” series features a wide screen 16x9 aspect ratio with scalable image display options (4x3, 16x9, 16x9 Zoom).

All models include an external DC power supply. The M20xLC2 features 12VDC operation and the M26xWLC and M32xWLC monitors feature 24VDC low-voltage operation. The monitors offer a clean aesthetically pleasing bezel design with rear mounted operator controls. Monitor programming is accomplished using the supplied IR Remote Control. The monitors with internal cameras also have external video inputs for additional display options. The monitors contain two powerful 5.0W audio amplifiers and front mounted speakers for stereo sound reproduction. Audio is supplied to the monitor by two line-level audio inputs.

The camera is concealed behind a tinted Lexan window for aesthetic purposes and has a removable rear access panel for adjusting the camera’s field of view and focus adjustments that may be easily set from the rear of the monitor. The monitor also provides a 12VDC power connection for an external camera. The monitors feature 100mm VESA mount connection point for use with various LCD mounts.
