Robert "Skitch" Andersen named president of U.S. operations

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert "Skitch" Andersen has been named president of the U.S. operations of Sion Resources Ltd., one of the top international security companies, announced COO Scott Charnick. Sion specializes in safeguarding individuals, protecting physical operations, conducting risk analysis, providing corporate intelligence, and data network security.

One of their most recent assignments was guarding Olympic Champion Michael Phelps during his European tour. The J. Paul Getty family, Spiros Niarchos, H.H. Karim Aga Khan, the Abdul Aziz Royal Family of Saudi Arabia, H.R.H. Sheikh Mohammad bin Khalifa Al Thani of the Qatari Royal Family, and Gianni Angelopoulos, the Greek Ambassador to the Olympics are among their clients.

Chris Phillips draws on years of experience with London's Metropolitan Police New Scotland Yard Fraud Squad. President Robert "Skitch" Andersen joins Sion after a successful career in domestic and international marketing, corporate management, and strategic partnership consulting. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam crisis as a member of an elite team conducting helicopter flight training.
