DES PLAINES, Ill., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Representatives from the transportation industry, insurance carriers, manufacturers, local, state and federal law enforcement and business leaders are holding a one-day meeting in Crystal City to discuss strategies and tactics to combat cargo theft in the United States.
Addressing the conference will be U.S. Representative Cliff Stearns (R-FL); Ed Dean, Sheriff, Marion County Florida; Joe Wehrle, president and CEO, National Insurance Crime Bureau; and FBI Assistant Director Kevin Perkins. These and other experts will be presenting their views on attacking the national problem of cargo theft.
