Global Security Associates names Peter Harlick VP of sales and marketing

Harlick brings security expertise, emergency response experience to new position

Garden City, New York—November 17, 2008—Global Security Associates LLC announces the appointment of Peter D. Harlick to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Harlick will be responsible for the overall sales growth through new business development from the company’s core vertical markets: Aviation Security, Uniformed Guard Division, Government, Special Operations and Corporate Events.

Having been an active member of the security industry since 2002, Global Security Associates will benefit from Mr. Harlick’s vast industry knowledge and relationships as the company looks to expand and partner with firms ancillary to its core service areas. Based at Global Security Associates’ new Charlotte, North Carolina regional office, Harlick will be in charge of building the sales team, creating and implementing print and online media strategies, trade show planning, website development and corporate branding.

The newest location allows GSA to better serve the Southeast and Middle Atlantic regions with the ability to deploy teams within a 12 to 24 hour window to any location that needs staffing ahead of a natural disaster. Global Security Associates’ aviation footprint continues to grow in the Miami and Southeast markets, the newest location will provide enhanced service to the area.
