The SAFauthenticator SDK for SAFsolution 5 Enterprise Edition provides software developers the tools to easily add native biometric authentication to their commercial off-the-shelf and custom applications.
The SDK enables partners to rapidly add the industry’s strongest biometric authentication solution, SAFsolution 5, to their own applications. As a result, customers are in a position to simultaneously strengthen user authentication for network logon and virtually any enterprise application.

Specifically developed for SAFsolution 5, IdentiPHI SAFauthenticator SDK significantly expands supported programming languages including C++, .NET and Java. The SDK exposes several new API methods such as biometric enrollment and the ability to capture, store and submit users’ application secrets. The result is that developers may implement SAFsolution’s biometric enrollment process directly from applications and can utilize the ability to securely store application credentials or secrets to roam with users across the network.
