Arora Engineers’ Director of Development Kenneth Gould has served as president of the New York Fire Alarm Association for 2008.
As president of the non-profit, Gould is responsible for maintaining a relationship between fire and security specialists and local fire, government and code officials.
A 30-year industry veteran, Gould during his tenure as NYFAA president has worked to change terminal assignment fees and other billing methods at the Fire Department of New York, as well as have the NYFAA’s code committee evaluate new IBC and IFC codes implemented by New York City. Gould has also presided over the organization’s Second Annual Fire and Life Safety Technical Symposium and Vendor Expo and a golf charity outing benefitting local burn centers.
