STAMFORD, CT – February 24, 2009 – K-Tech Services, LLC, of Stamford, CT, announced today it has joined the SafetyCare National Authorized Partner Program to offer Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) to customers in Connecticut and beyond.
The state-of-the-art PERS system will provide K-Tech clients with immediate access to certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) at the touch of a button. Highly-trained EMTs at SafetyCare’s response center will be able to communicate with the client, while notifying local emergency responders and anyone on the client’s emergency contact list.
Chris Kemp, Owner of K-Tech Services, LLC plans on beginning the marketing effort in Southern Connecticut and expects an enthusiastic response from seniors and their families.
K-Tech is calling its newest product the "MyEMT" system. It is being rolled out with its own website, a company vehicle wrapped with the product logo, a series of radio advertisements, a planned home show appearance and the slogan "When seconds matter."
"In the antiquated system that competitors offer, an operator would answer the call, but other than notifying local emergency services, they couldn’t do anything to help," Kemp explained. "With the calls being answered by SafetyCare, you know you’re on the line with a certified EMT who can offer valuable medical guidance until responders arrive."
