Partnership expected to provide PSA members with a full range of IP solutions

Westminster, CO - PSA Security Network, the world’s largest electronic security cooperative, today announced the addition of ComNet Communication Networks to their roster of supplier partners. Communication Networks, doing business as ComNet, was founded by George Lichtblau, the original founder of IFS. ComNet serves the security market with products used for transmitting CCTV, access control, fire, and alarm signals over optical fiber.

The addition of ComNet to the supplier line-up provides PSA members a full range of IP-compatible, managed and unmanaged Ethernet switches, and media converters. These devices are critical components for an integrated IP security network.

ComNet also gives PSA members design assistance through their fiber optic Design Center. They provide project CAD drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), data sheets, and connect drawings to assist integrators.

"We are proud to be selected as one of the PSA vendors for fiber optic and IP products. We’ve taken a clean approach with the ComNet product line," commented George Lichtblau, ComNet chief executive officer. "We’re offering an advanced product line, wrapped up in a very high level of customer care, all backed by a lifetime warranty," Lichtblau continued.

"As the IP and physical security industries rapidly converge, it’s essential that we offer our members the tools needed to succeed in this environment," says Bill Bozeman, president and chief executive officer, PSA Security Network. "ComNet brings innovative solutions to a product line that hasn’t seen much in the way of changes. These innovations will allow our integrators to provide advanced solutions to meet their customers’ needs."
