Massachusetts rep firm to offer company's shared IP video storage solutions

Intransa, the global leader of shared, scalable and simple external IP storage solutions, today announced a strategic sales and marketing partnership with Haverhill, MA based Intelligent Marketing, Inc. (IMI).

"We're excited to gain the increased coverage and proven market expertise that IMI brings to our United States sales activities in New England, New York, the Mid Atlantic and Southeast region," said Jonathan Perkins, Intransa vice president of Sales. "This is a strategic partnership for Intransa and a significant investment in our sales and support resources. The more customers understand the benefits of Intransa IP storage for video surveillance and other physical security requirements, the greater our success."

Intransa shared, external IP storage can deliver a few days of CCTV surveillance system video retention for edge recording for a single location, such as a retail or bank branch, and can scale to support months or years of instantly-available video for a fraction of the price of traditional direct attached, captive storage.

"I'm thrilled to announce this partnership," said Chris Greco, president of IMI. "In this time of economic challenges, the ability to extract more from existing infrastructure is critically important to our customers. The Intransa IP storage products are proven to deliver on that promise."

IMI also represents Intransa StorAlliance integration partners American Dynamics, a business unit of Tyco International; Commend and Mate Intelligent Video. All are among the nearly 100 physical security, medical imaging and IT manufacturers that have completed certification and testing by the Intransa StorAlliance Technology Labs.

Intransa scalability is critically important in the economic uncertainty and budget challenges of today since Intransa solutions also offer the unique ability to support new NVR IP video surveillance deployments or to affordably extend the capabilities of one or more existing DVRs without the challenge and cost of moving to a full IP deployment.
