Hauppauge, NY, October 20, 2008: Vicon Industries, a leading designer and producer of video surveillance systems, announces the appointment of Gene Conley as Vicon’s new Territory Manager for the states of Louisiana and Texas, excluding El Paso. Gene has provided consultative sales to the security industry for nearly 20 years, representing a range of software and hardware providers. These include Assa Abloy, Marimba Inc. (now BMC Software Inc.) and Casi-Rusco Inc. (now GE Security). In his most recent position as Regional Director at Assa Abloy, Gene worked directly with system integrators, architects and end-users to provide training and consulting services relating to the company’s electrified hardware products.
Gene has been certified by ASIS International as a Physical Security Professional (P.S.P.) and is currently a candidate for certification as an Information Security Systems Professional.
