ASHBURN, Va. , May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Decisions, Inc. (ID), a premier systems integrator providing innovative IT hardware and software, manufacturing and professional service solutions to Federal, State and Local governments and Fortune 1000 customers, announced that it was awarded a Video Surveillance Contract with the Portage Area School District through its PA Department of General Services COSTARS 3- IT Hardware Contract.
The Portage Area School District required an end-to-end video surveillance solution to help monitor and protect the students and faculty at its high school. To meet the needs and requirements of the school, ID partnered with Intelligent Security Technologies (IST), a recognized security and surveillance solutions company specializing in digital technologies such as PC-based DVRs, IP cameras and wireless solutions.
The new turnkey IP-based network video surveillance solution deployed utilizes innovative servers designed for high-definition surveillance and redundancy and new mega pixel technology digital cameras. There are cameras installed throughout the junior/senior high building and the exterior cameras have day/night capabilities. Additional cameras are planned for installation in the upcoming year in the elementary school.
