Danbury, CT. November 18, 2008, Communication Networks of Danbury, Connecticut, doing business as ComNet, a leading manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, has hired David Sinise to be the company’s Eastern Regional ITS Sales Manager. Dave will be responsible for company’s entry into the expanding ITS marketplace. Intelligent Transportation System designers have turned to Ethernet for traffic signalization networks as well as CCTV surveillance and Dave’s expertise will be of great value to a new company such as ComNet. Dave will report directly to George Lichtblau, ComNet’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Sinise held the role of Regional ITS Sales Manager for the former IFS before it was absorbed into GE Security. Dave has over 10 years of experience in the security and ITS markets and his knowledge of the fiber optic and network communication fields is greatly respected.
Sinise will be responsible for supporting the use of ComNet products in Intelligent Transportation Markets throughout the Eastern Region of the United States and Canada. Dave will be tasked with educating ComNet Manufacturers’ Representatives, System Designers and customers on all levels about the benefits ComNet products bring to their projects.

Dave Sinise has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Massachusetts and an MBA Degree from the University of Bridgeport.
