Compant to provide multiple security solutions for defense facility

MDI, announced today that MDI Security Systems, an MDI company, received a new order for $213,000 in security products, software and integration services from Evergreen Fire and Security, an MDI Certified Integrator. MDI will deliver the products to Evergreen in October for installation at a key Department of Defense facility. The purpose of this facility is to train Department of Defense personnel for deployment in support of our nation's military strategy.

Evergreen will install MDI's proprietary access control and surveillance solution throughout 49 Arms Storage Facilities and several Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities.

The MDI solution is custom-designed for these facilities and will enable the Department of Defense security managers, housed in a single on-site command and control station, to both monitor security threats in real time and initiate commands to respond to and control security threats.

"As an integrator with an established record of successful MDI Security System installations, we are looking forward to continuing our work with such an outstanding, bullet-proof solution," commented John Burgess, President of Evergreen Fire and Security. The Evergreen team that services this client, on behalf of MDI, includes several technicians, installers and engineers who have been certified at the highest-levels of MDI Security Systems training.
