Francis Clark to help lead DIGIOP’s North American launch

Clark to serve as company’s director of retail solutions

Houston -- DIGIOP Technologies, a global leader in surveillance technology and video-based business intelligence solutions, announced Thursday that Francis Clark will join the company’s sales leadership team. Fran will serve as Director of Retail Solutions and will be responsible for sales and business development to drive DIGIOP’s S.M.A.R.T. Retail surveillance solutions for the North American marketplace.

Clark has a long career in the Supermarket Industry where he worked for independents, regional, national and international chains. Among his many achievements was his selection by The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company to head up their enterprise-wide store technology sector including field operations. In this capacity, Clark was involved in eight acquisitions and responsible for leading edge technology to over 1,200 stores. Among the advances that he brought to A&P was a company wide loyalty program, store security applications, enhanced POS systems, DSD receiving, time and attendance, labor scheduling, wireless communications and a variety of additional technical advances.

Prior to joining DIGIOP, Clark was an executive at RetailControl.com. RetailControl.com is a service/solution provider to retailers where Clark specialized in helping companies and franchisees achieve significant profit gains through the use of POS solutions for smarter loss prevention and store operations control.

Over his career, Clark has been a sought-after speaker for a number of Food Marketing Institute & Retail Systems events, IBM Executive Conferences and served as President of the IBM Supermarket User’s Group for five years. In addition to industry events in the United States, he has addressed many international forums and User’s Groups where he presented ‘State of the Industry’ addresses, Loss Prevention Best Practices and served on many industry round tables.
