MDI's LearnSafe Direct receives order from Texas school district

LearnSafe to present at 2008 School Administrators Conference in Dallas

MDI Inc. today announced that as a follow-on to their August 28, 2008 announcement, the North East Independent School District in San Antonio, TX, has placed an order for video surveillance products to secure eight elementary schools. These systems are part of a district-wide digital video surveillance initiative for NEISD. The initiative's multiple implementation phases are being coordinated by the LearnSafe team in conjunction with security and information technology personnel from the district.

NEISD is the 9thl argest district in the State of Texas and LearnSafe is preparing these video security products for shipment and immediate installation. As an approved vendor with the district, the order was facilitated through MDI's national The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) contract, which is managed by the Region 4 Education Service Center.

MDI's LearnSafe Direct inside sales team is calling on public school districts to sell, design and install LearnSafe certified security products, safety products and professional services. LearnSafe solutions include district-wide unified access control, video surveillance, alarm management, emergency communications, bus safety and door security solutions as part of the LearnSafe comprehensive program.

2008 School Administrators Conference in Dallas

LearnSafe will be presenting and exhibiting at the 2008 Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) and School Boards (TASB) conference in Dallas, TX, September 26th-28th. The conference draws major decision makers from the state's 1,033 school districts and is scheduled to include more than 8,000 attendees this year. School leaders attend this event to get continuing education, learn about trends in public schools and explore products and services for their districts. Attendees include school board members, superintendents, business managers, administrative staff and other individuals interested in the education of Texas schoolchildren.
