Local chapter honors Bedoon as woman of the year

ANN ARBOR, MICH. – August 14, 2007 – Ensure Technologies, pioneer of the XyLoc family of network security products, announced Lisa M. Beedon has been honored by the local chapter of the American Business Women’s Association as their Woman of the Year.

Beedon, a three year member of the Maia Chapter of ABWA in Ann Arbor, was recognized by chapter members for her significant contributions during the past year, serving as Vice President of the chapter and Vice Chair of Eastern Michigan Council. The Woman of the Year program was designed so chapters could recognize a member who has made notable contributions and outstanding achievements. Being named Woman of the Year is a great honor — one that’s highly respected by ABWA members.

Beedon has been with Ensure Technologies since 2005 as the Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for the activities involving strategic marketing, advertising and marketing support. She coordinates the relationships with other functional areas, and product groups.

“This award recognizes Lisa’s ability to maintain high achievement in both her daily job commitments and her professional community,” says Sue Olson, Lisa’s supervisor and Ensure’s Director of Strategic Relationships and Marketing. “We’re proud of her contributions to the American Business Women’s Association.”

Ensure Technologies’ XyLoc product line utilizes patented radio frequency (RF) technology to bring convenience to network security by recognizing authorized users, unlocking the computer as they approach, and locking it again as they walk away. Ensure credits its recent success to the increase in its use by hospitals and other large, or enterprise, groups.
