Company to deploy March software enterprise wide for data mining on LP

OTTAWA, Dec. 18 -- March Networks, a leading provider of video and data solutions, announced today that Giant Tiger Stores Limited has selected March Networks for its enterprise-wide deployment of loss prevention data mining software.

Giant Tiger Stores Limited is a successful and renowned Canadian discount retailer with more than 170 stores across Canada. The company will use March Networks' LP data mining software, including retail point-of-sale monitoring and smart exception reporting, for operations and loss prevention. Features such as the user defined dashboard with transaction profiling and scorecards will provide Giant Tiger with effective tools to analyze store activity, allowing them to reduce shrink and optimize overall operational performance.
