JVC is launching several new products this year at IFSEC. Two cameras that recently made their debut and are on display at the show are the TK-C686E indoor dome camera and IP66 rated TK-C686WPE PTZ dome camera with outdoor housing. The cameras feature a Direct Drive Motor that precisely controls the pan and tilt mechanism for smooth and accurate operation, as well as 36 x zoom and a host of top-level camera features.
The TK-C686WPE PTZ dome camera has been shortlisted as one out of six finalists for the best CCTV product category for the IFSEC Awards. The winner will be announced at the Awards ceremony and dinner at IFSEC.
JVC Professional Products exhibited the new IP range of camera products, network video recorders and display equipment at this years' ISC West show in Las Vegas in April. At the show, the large panel of judges from the Security Industry Association (SIA) awarded JVC with the prestigious 2008 Product Showcase award for IP Devices, Products and Software for the new VN-V686WPU IP dome camera with outdoor housing. This camera was selected as a winner against stiff competition.
Four new IP Cameras on display at IFSEC include the VN-C25U Easy Day/Night camera (0.4 lux) and the VN-C26U True Day/Night camera. The cameras are equipped with:
• IR Cut Filter• Simultaneous distribution of 30fps full-frame MPEG-4 and Motion-JPEG streams• Power over Ethernet (PoE) or AC24V• Wide-D function for backlight compensationAlso on display are the feature-rich 36x zoom PTZ IP True Day & Night dome camera, model VN-V686U and an external version PTZ VN-V686WPU IP dome camera.
Both cameras utilize JVC's Direct Drive Motor to precisely control the pan for accurate operation and have a 36 x zoom. The VN-V686 Series cameras produce simultaneous distribution of full-frame MPEG-4 and Motion-JPEG streams.
Also at IFSEC, JVC is featuring their largest ever showcase of LCD and CRT monitors ranging from 15-to-65 inches. Among the monitors on display include, a new 19-inch LCD TFT monitor, the LM-H191, three large LCD TFT monitors available in the sizes of 46-inches (GD-F46L1), 52-inches (model GD-F52L1) and 65-inches (model GD-F65L1).
All models of JVC's new cameras and monitors can be combined with the company's hybrid 9-channel NVR, the VR-N900U or the 16-channel NVR, the VR-N1600E to provide an all-JVC digital IP security solution for small to large security systems.
