Deal to help manufacturer expand its product line

Vislink, a manufacturer of solutions for the microwave radio, satellite transmission and maritime security industries announced last week that they have acquired California-based Pacific Microwave Research, a manufacturer of analog and digital microwave transmission products.

In a press release issued by Vislink regarding the acquisition, the company stated that the purchase would help them expand their product offerings to the U.S. and international law enforcement community, as well as brings them a new revenue stream. In addition, the company added that PMR’s principal shareholders would remain in their current roles with the company.

The deal, which is reportedly worth $17 million, is expected to be completed by the end of September.
