New line of high performance LCD monitors designed for professional video surveillance applications

FAIRPORT, N.Y. - Bosch Security Systems, Inc., a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security solutions, is adding a line of high performance and general-purpose color liquid crystal display (LCD) flat panel monitors to its extensive portfolio of security components and solutions. Designed for professional CCTV installations, Bosch’s high resolution VGA and UXGA monitors provide exceptional image quality along with other innovative surveillance features, such as picture-in-picture, split screen viewing and digital HDMI input. The new monitor models range in size from 15-inch to 42-inch models with wall, rack and pole mounting options available.

The new UML-172-90 17-inch and UML-192-90 19-inch high performance monitors include a color thin film transistor (TFT) active matrix LCD panel for high resolution imaging – 500 TVL, 1600 x 1200 or 1280 x 1024 pixels – and include two looping composite video inputs, two looping audio inputs and one looping Y/C input. The picture-in-picture or split screen capability allows simultaneous viewing of multiple locations. Display adjustments are made easily with on-screen menus available in several languages and front panel controls. The monitors also include long-life fluorescent backlighting to maintain brightness levels over time in constant use. These high performance monitors accept NTSC and PAL signal formats automatically as well as power supply voltages from 90 to 256 VAC. The wide range viewing angle gives users a clear image whether the monitors are positioned on a desktop, on a VESA standard wall mount or in a standard EIA rack.

The UML-150-90 15-inch and UML-170-90 17-inch general purpose monitors provide amazingly crisp image quality and automatically adapt to the input resolution of the incoming video signal, at 400 TVL up to 1280 x 1024 pixels or 1.3 Megapixels. The general-purpose monitors refresh every five milliseconds so customers get crisp, clear images with less smearing and ghosting in fast motion video. In addition, the monitors feature standard 100 mm (3.9 inch) holes for a range of wall mounts and user-friendly on-screen menus and front panel controls for adjustments. The monitors also adapt automatically to fluctuating electricity loads while protecting circuitry.

These monitors comply with FCC and CE regulations for electromagnetic compatibility and with UL, EN and IEC standards for product safety.
