AlliedBarton promotes Rich Cordivari to VP of learning and development

Industry veteran and national training director for firm to assume new role

AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, promotes Rich Cordivari to Vice President of Learning and Development.

In his new position, Rich will lead the Training team in the development of curricula and course delivery methods that will advance AlliedBarton's position as the security industry's training leader.

"Rich is an instrumental part of our team and his expertise is critical to the development of training programs that prepare our security officers and managers for the challenges they face."

Since joining AlliedBarton in December 2003, Rich has served in several Training positions including: Philadelphia Region Training Director, Mid South Atlantic Division Training Director and, since July 2006, National Training Director.

His 20 years in the industry have included positions as Vice President of Event Operations for SpectaGuard, Inc. (now AlliedBarton) and Vice President of Secure Defense Systems in Springfield, NJ, a security consulting firm.

Cordivari received his BS in Business Administration from Villanova University. After graduating from college, he began a 15-year career in law enforcement and, at the time he joined SpectaGuard, was a Police Lieutenant in Lower Merion Township, PA.
