Extreme CCTV International Inc.'s Moondance PTZ camera is delivering critical surveillance video aboard the Tamar, the newest class of lifeboats in the Royal Navy Lifeboat Institute (RNLI). Featuring Metal PowerDome design for reliable performance in the extremely harsh conditions of marine applications, Moondance cameras help the officers of the RNLI perform their mandate to provide 24-hour lifesaving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboats have saved more than 137,000 lives. In 2005 RNLI lifeboats rescued 8,104 people - an average of 22 people per day.
