Iron Mountain Announces Key Executive Appointments

New CSO and division presidents named

BOSTON, Jan. 11 -- Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM) , the global leader in information protection and storage services, today announced that John Connors, Executive Vice President of sales and marketing, has been appointed to the role of President, Americas. Iron Mountain also announced that John Clancy, previously Executive Vice President of Iron Mountain Digital, has been appointed President of Iron Mountain Digital, the Company's technology business unit; and Joseph DeSalvo has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer.

"All three executives bring exceptional credentials to their respective roles of driving our core businesses, expanding our Digital footprint and securing our customers' information."

Assuming the role of President, Americas, John Connors will continue to report to Mr. Brennan. Mr. Connors joined Iron Mountain in March of 2005 as Executive Vice President, sales and marketing. With more than twenty-five years of general management experience, Mr. Connors has served as president of Merisel, Inc., a $6 billion global leader in PC distribution, as well as CEO of a number of successful technology companies, most recently at IntrinsiQ Research, Inc. Mr. Connors earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University.

John Clancy has led Iron Mountain Digital for the last two years as Executive Vice President. Under his leadership, the Company's technology business unit has grown to employ nearly 500 people and its revenues have more than tripled. Mr. Clancy previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Connected Corporation, which Iron Mountain acquired in 2004. Before Connected, Mr. Clancy served as Vice President for SilverStream Software. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Assumption College.

Joseph DeSalvo joins Iron Mountain as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer (CSO) with more than 16 years of experience in corporate security and investigative services. A former FBI Special Agent, Mr. DeSalvo has held senior executive roles at Charles Schwab & Co., as CSO, and at Bankers Trust Company, as Vice President of Corporate Security. He will be directly responsible for all aspects of corporate security and safety, fraud prevention, information security, crisis management and disaster recovery programs. Mr. DeSalvo earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
