RS2 Technologies enters agreement to resell XceedID access control products

Munster, IN - RS2 Technologies, LLC, a leading provider of access control systems, has announced that it recently entered into an OEM agreement with XceedID Corporation to resell XceedID's line of access control readers and cards. RS2 will offer XceedID cards and readers as part of its extensive line of access control hardware and software.

XceedID's industry-leading multi-technology card readers support proximity technologies including HID proximity, GE/CASI ProxLite, and AWID. The readers simultaneously support smart card technologies including XceedID secure ISOX, secure MIFARE, MIFARE DESFire applications, and Infineon secure my-d. The readers also read smart card serial numbers (CSN's only and not the secure data application areas) of HID iCLASS and other ISO14443 and ISO 15693 technologies (see XceedID data sheets for complete details). XceedID readers offer higher security and broader compatibility than traditional proximity and contactless smart card readers.

According to RS2 National Sales Manager Gary Staley, "We are excited about our new partnership with XceedID. They have an experienced technology team that has always been committed to developing innovative ideas in the area of RFID and contactless smart cards into leading edge products. That fits well with our philosophy." Staley added that "This agreement is the latest in a series of strategic partnerships that we have formed throughout the access control industry over the past year. These partnerships bring considerable value to our dealers, customers and prospective customers."

"XceedID is pleased to work with RS2, bringing together two access control technology leaders to provide innovative card reader solutions," stated John Menzel, CEO/President of XceedID Corporation.
