    SANYO enhances analog camera line with four new models

    Wide spectrum of performance features includes pan-focus technology

    Las Vegas, Nevada (April 2, 2008) – Recognizing the continued demand for analog solutions in the marketplace, SANYO Security Systems, a division of SANYO Fisher Company, is introducing four new high resolution analog video surveillance cameras at ISC West 2008. One of the new units features SANYO's exclusive Pan-Focus ™ deep focusing technology to provide continuous focus across the entire field of view and keep all objects simultaneously in focus. The new Pan-Focus unit is the VCC-P6784 with integral 2.6x motorized lens. The new analog cameras are the VCC-6584E General Purpose Color DSP Camera and the VCC-XZ600 Weatherproof and VCC-ZM600 General Purpose Day/Night Zoom Cameras.

    The combination of Pan-Focus technology and an integral 2.6x motorized zoom lens allows the new VCC-P6784 to capture sharper images over an expansive range. By simultaneously improving image detail and scene coverage, the VCC-P6784 provides a highly cost-effective imaging solution without compromised performance. Key features of the new VCC-P6784 include: over 520 TV lines of horizontal resolution; remote zoom adjustment with the optional VAC-70 camera control unit; intelligent backlight compensation; minimum illumination of 1.9 lux; and solid-state construction for high resistance to shock and vibration.

    Also joining SANYO's family of analog cameras are the VCC-XZ600 Weatherproof and VCC-ZM600 Day/Night High-Resolution Auto Focus Zoom Cameras . The units offer 540 TV lines; 30x optical and 16x digital zoom that can be combined to produce 480x zoom capability; minimum illumination of 0.8 (color) and 0.04 (B/W); built in image stabilization; built-in intelligent digital motion detection and auto zoom capability; and privacy masking.

    SANYO is also introducing the VCC-6584E 1/3” Color CCD DSP Camera that features a horizontal resolution of 540 TV lines, a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux, two types of backlight compensation, and dual power operation.
