A reward for those who don't take the summer off: Win a free DVR! Anyone who works as a systems integrator or IT technician in the server-room works hard — especially so in the hot summer months when it seems like everyone else is on vacation, doing the Hukilau at a Luau or at least floating in the kiddie pool in the backyard.
What better way to feel rewarded for putting in the long, hard summer hours than winning a free DVR?
At the end of the summer, Airship Industries is giving away a security-video DVR valued upwards of $2750. The recipient of the FREE DVR will be the First Place winner of Airship's Summer Giveaway contest, which is open to all "Systems Integrators and [even self-described] IT mavericks".
The contest, which is accepting entries now through September 1, is simple. Anyone who has installed one or more systems in a server room is eligible to send up to 6 photos of his or her "best-looking wiring, cabling, and/or rack-mount arrangement job."
An entry does not need to depict Airship products — any product installation qualifies — but must be accompanied by a 50-100 word paragraph about the installation (including the name of the business/organization name of the site for verification) and about the entrant's business.
The First Place winner of the DVR, as well as the Second and Third Place winner selected by Airship staff, will be recognized and promoted on Airship's Web site at airshipdvr.com.
Also recognized and promoted on the Airship Web site will be a People's Choice winner, reflecting the company's culture of listening to and learning from its customers.
