ISN-CC1-50W PIR is offered as a ceiling-mounted detector, replaces DS918i

Fairport, New York -- Bosch Security Systems, a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security systems and components, has launched the Bosch ISN-CC1-50W wide-angle motion detector. This new Passive Infrared (PIR) ceiling-mount motion detector offers many new features at a price that's up to 20 percent less than the previous model (the discontinued Bosch DS918i/DS918x).

The UL-listed detector has a lower-profile design that's less than two-thirds the height of the previous model, so it's less obtrusive and ideal for applications and environments where aesthetics are important.

Its adjustable mirrors make it easy to change coverage patterns. Vertical adjustment is done using a lever with indications for matching the ceiling height, so there's no visual alignment required. The ISN-CC1-50W has wide-angle coverage of 46 feet with a mounting height of up to 16 feet.

The unit offers several other advantages over previous models, including a higher ceiling mounting height - positioning from eight to 16 feet, a covered tamper switch, and NC or NO (normally closed or normally open) alarm relay configurations with a silent, solid-state Form 1a/1b relay for more secure operation. The ISN-CC1-50W is self-monitoring, which ensures proper installation and operation, and the alarm LED flashes to indicate any problems.

The unit's DIP switches allow users to select settings for LED (On/Off) and Relay Output (NC/NO). To help reduce false alarms, the DIP switches also let users choose the sensitivity level (60, 80, 100, or 120%) and pulse count (1, 2, 3, or 4) based on the application's requirements.

The Bosch ISN-CC1-50W wide-angle motion detector is available through Bosch Certified Security Dealers. For more information about Bosch Security Systems visit www.boschsecurity.us.
