Carol Enman joins Axis

Former security newspaper publisher named company's strategic channel manager

Axis Communications, the global leader in the network video market, announced Monday that it has named Carol Enman Strategic Channel Manager.

Enman will focus on both education and healthcare segments within Axis’ strategic channels group. She will build business partnerships, develop marketing and assist the sales force in growing these segments. Enman will report to Dr. Jumbi Edulbehram, director, strategic channel.

Enman was most recently the director of business development and communications at Securitas Systems, a billion-dollar commercial, electronic, security systems designer/integrator. Before that, she was publisher at United Publications, which includes Security Systems News and Security Director News. She also introduced or co-introduced groundbreaking events including SecurityXchange, TechSec and Security Growth Conference. Enman holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Suffolk University.

Axis in Education and Healthcare

Axis network cameras are increasingly being used in schools and other educational establishments around the world for security surveillance and the remote monitoring of residence halls, playground areas, corridors, halls and classrooms. Within healthcare, Axis network video cameras are deployed for remote monitoring and surveillance in the areas of security and maintenance and may be used to remotely assist healthcare givers and patients in distant locations.
